Our traces are witneses of our existance, are found all around us, reveal our identities...

Strong preassure of feet on breakable surface of glass sheet can be associated with breaking of glass. That kind of left traces is at the same time a real object in the gallery space and in the space of art. The traces of the over-exaggerated feet on glass surface folow a symbolic line of several meanings, starting with symbols of force and soul as fundaments of up-right position, over fetish and focus of sexual attraction to the support of the body while walking...
In the context of art the footprints are tautological row that decodes a set of artistic procedures whose theoretical and practical starting point is in the sum(mary) of human relations and their social context and not in some autonomus and personal space
The idea of this piece lies in the possibilities of re-examination of personal identity of the very art practice, therefore the installation functions and appears as a specific social space, as co-existence of endless social identities.

Naši tragovi su svedoci našeg postojanja, nalaze se svuda oko nas, otkrivaju naše identitete…

Snažan pritisak stopala na lomljivu površinu staklene table može da asocira na pucanje stakla. Ta vrsta nacinjenih tragova je u isto vreme realan predmet u galerijskom prostoru i u prostoru umetnosti. Tragovi predimenzioniranog stopala na staklenoj ploci slede simbolisticki niz nekoliko znacenja, od simbola snage i duse kao uporišta uspravnog položaja, preko fetiša i žarišta polne privlacnosti, do oslonca tela u hodu..
U kontekstu umetnosti otisci stopala su tautološki niz koji dešifruje skup umetnickih postupaka, cije se teorijsko i prakticno polazište nalazi u sveukupnosti ljudskih relacija i njihovom društvenom kontekstu, a ne u nekom autonomnom i licnom prostoru.
Ideja ovog rada leži u mogucnostima preispitivanja licnog identiteta i identiteta same umetnicke prakse, otuda rad (instalacija ) funkcioniše i pojavljuje se kao svojstveni društveni prostor, kao koegzistencija bezbroj društvenih identiteta.

A fingerprint is witness of our existence

those traces can be found all around us - we make them by touching things, by making love, by shaking hands… a cruel way for someone to be identificiated is comparison of fingerprints in cases of a murder or some other crime. If I imagined that the traces are not invisible, I would see each particle of the earth covered with prints. A fingerprint is a convincing trace which tells about
someone, typical of only one certain person and which reveals his or her identity.

Otisak prsta je svedok našeg postojanja

ta vrsta trgova je svuda oko nas – ostavljamo ih dodirom, ljubavnim cinom, rukovanjem…
Surov nacin da bi se neko identifikovao je uporedjivanje otiska prilikom dokaza o ubistvu ili nekom zlocinu.
Ako bih zamislila da tragovi nisu nevidljivi, videla bih svaki delic zemaljske kugle prekriven otiscima. Svaki otisak je svojstven samo jednoj osobi i otkriva njen identitet – lice.
